부산타워 등대는 용두산 공원내 타워 전망대 옥상(야외)에 설치하여, 일몰후부터 일출시까지 매일 운영하고 있다. 2012년 6월 전국 최초의 “관광용 등대”로 정식 지정·고시됨에 따라 등탑 높이 기준으로는 120m(해발 189m)로 우리나라에서 제일 높은 등대이다. 부산항(북항)의 아름다운 야경과 함께 또 하나의 볼거리를 감상 할 수 있으며, 인근 항행선박의 항로표지용으로도 활용하고 있다.
