2007년 9월 송도해수욕장 앞 해상에 전국최초의 해상조각작품 고래조형등대 5기(작품주제 : 해몽(海夢)-무지개를 몰고 온 고래이야기)를 설치한데 이어, 2008년에는 야간경관 조명과 분수를 설치하여 아름다운 해안선과 어우러져 역동적이고 환상적인 밤바다 분위기를 연출하고 있다
