거북이 모양의 섬인 죽도는 “기장8경” 중 하나이다. 대나무가 많아 죽도라고 불렸으나 현재는 동백나무가 울창해 동백섬으로도 불리운다. 대변항과 죽도를 연결하는 연죽교는 야경감상 포인트로도 유명하다. ▸주변관광지 : 대변항, 월드컵등대, 마징가Z등대, 태권V등대
